    Student to Teacher Ratio:

There are 10 to 15 students per classroom with one instructor and one teaching assistant. This ensures that students are receive meaningful interactions with both teachers and fellow students.

    Daily High-Quality Chinese Immersion Lessons:

Led by experienced instructors, designed to build a solid language foundation through interactive storytelling, engaging vocabulary practice, and culturally relevant activities. Students experience immersive language learning that connects them deeply with Chinese culture and expression.

    Daily Homework Support:

Our teaching assistants provide 1-on-1 support, ensuring that students complete their assignments with focus and efficiency. By prioritizing homework completion each day, we help students stay academically on track, so they can head home without additional homework, giving families more time for relaxation and quality time together.

We do clay projects that connect directly to our Chinese language themes. Through molding and shaping clay, students not only reinforce vocabulary and thematic expressions but also develop fine motor skills, an appreciation for aesthetics, and an understanding of color. This hands-on activity fosters creativity while immersing students in language learning, helping them enhance their artistic senses and strengthen their grasp of Chinese concepts in a tactile and engaging way.

Calligraphy and Brush Painting Classes on Tuesdays:

Writing practice that expand on the week’s Chinese language themes. Through creating art with traditional Chinese materials like rice paper, brushes, and ink, students reinforce vocabulary, practice character writing, and explore Chinese art concepts that reflect cultural values and history.

Chinese Literature and History on Wednesdays:

Students engage with classic idioms, poems, stories, and historical tales. This course enriches students' language skills by incorporating context-specific vocabulary, phrases, and cultural stories that enhance their appreciation for the language and its cultural heritage.

Robotics, Coding, and STEM Classes on Thursdays:

We conduct our science classes in a fully Chinese-immersive environment. This hands-on class not only builds STEM knowledge and inspires creative thinking but also emphasizes social-emotional growth. Students practice Mandarin as they engage in collaborative problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership, enhancing both their language skills and their abilities to work effectively with others in a meaningful, supportive setting.

    Junior Chef Cooking Class:

Young learners make traditional Chinese foods related to the season and festival calendar. Each recipe serves as a learning tool to introduce students to relevant cooking vocabulary, cultural phrases, and holiday expressions, enhancing their understanding of Chinese traditions through culinary language practice. Specific days depend on the seasons and the festival dates of the year.

Chinese Recitation, Public Speaking, and Debate Classes: These classes provide students with opportunities to practice speaking Mandarin in structured and spontaneous ways. By reciting poetry, presenting short speeches, and debating simple topics, students build confidence, fluency, and critical language skills necessary for effective communication.

2 Chinese Cultural Field Trips per Semester: Trips enrich language learning through real-life experiences. Students visit places like dumpling shops, boba shops, libraries, and museums on minimum days, when we have extra time to explore together! These immersive outings allow students to practice conversational Mandarin in authentic settings, connect with Chinese culture firsthand, and apply their language skills in everyday interactions. Each trip reinforces classroom learning, enhances cultural understanding, and boosts students’ confidence in using Mandarin in the community.
