Tw0 classroom options for K-5th graders with low student staff ratio (1:6).
1. All Chinese Immersion (recommended for heritage speakers).
2. English/Chinese dual language (recommended for non-heritage speakers or beginners).

Theme: Professions in Ancient China
This year we will time travel back to ancient China to learn more about the language, people, traditional culture and history in the golden times in China. We will study the life experiences and creations of people like poets, artists, performers, emperors, herbal doctors, chefs, architects, engineers, scientists, and even fashion designers!

Activity Types
Everyday will be a fun exploration of Chinese & Asian culture, with hands on activities, including but not limited to:

Chinese dialogue role plays
Chinese characters practice
Traditional crafts
Chinese outdoor sports
Authentic Chinese food cooking
Unique guest speakers of different professions

Kid Reporter Camp Highlights

Kids here often wonder, why do I have to learn Chinese when I am in America?! Here comes a great opportunity to use Chinese in real life! We recently got this special invitation from KTSF TV Station to recruit 20 Chinese learners to be kid reporters this summer! They will be trained by Chinese teachers, news reporters and anchors to practice Chinese skills as well as how to be a reporter or TV anchor. By the end of camp, our kid reporters will go in the studio to conduct their news recording and get their kid reporter award. Their news recording will be broadcast on KTSF Channel 26 after editing!
