Meet the Team
Our team is comprised of fun and creative group who are dedicated to spreading the wonderful Chinese culture and language. We are so excited to get to work with Immersive Beijing and getting to share the beautiful language with young, curious learners.
At Immersive Beijing learning Foundation, we’re dedicated to:
Understanding our students and teaching individuals in a way they can understand and benefit from.
Designing tested, creative, and hands-on curriculum for all ages and proficiency levels.
Not only teaching the language, but also the culture.
Cultivating passionate and curious learners who build lifelong relationships.
Having fun!
Welcome to the Immersive Beijing Family!
I started teaching Chinese to foreign project managers in Caterpillar, Tianjin, and moved to the United States to complete a master’s in international development education and program evaluation, and later a doctoral in Chinese medicine and acupuncture. I loved the experience I had teaching and how I was able to help learners grow. I started Immersive Beijing Learning Foundation with a few talented American students of mine to share the beauty of Chinese language and culture with more kids and have them learn through hands-on learning projects and be immersed in authentic Chinese culture. I hope to cultivate passionate and curious learners who spread the love of the language.
With Love,
Sherry Zhang, Founder
Head of cultural and educational curriculum design, head of HR, co-head of marketing, founder of Live Love Learn Chinese nonprofit
