Spring is a season of renewal, growth, and fresh beginnings. Our Spring Camp welcomes children into an immersive world of Chinese language, poetry, nature, and creativity, where learning happens naturally through play, exploration, and meaningful real-life experiences.

Throughout the week, campers garden, create, explore the outdoors, design, build, and perform — all within a warm Mandarin immersion environment guided by caring teachers.

  • Theme:

    Qingming Festival, also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day, is a time to honor ancestors and appreciate the beauty of spring. During camp, students will:

    • Learn about Qingming traditions through storytelling and hands-on crafts.

    • Make and taste Qingming Festival foods, such as Qing Tuan (green mochi).

    • Understand how this festival connects to nature, respect, and remembrance.

    古诗学习 Chinese Poem Learning:

    • Recite and appreciate Du Fu’s classic poem, 春夜喜雨, about spring rain and renewal.

    • Create Chinese calligraphy and ink wash paintings inspired by the poem.
